The three events started this weekend. the singles and Seniors at the Railway Bowling Club, and the Presidents Singles at the Condo Sports Club.
Firstly the Seniors Singles, as this event was finalized on Sunday, with the Final Being an all PBSC event, and in a very entertaining match, Col Hayward beat Graham Barby 31/21, to take out the 2012 Seniors Singles.
In the President Singles played at the Condo Sports Club, we had two players in the Semi's, unfortunately Terry Hetherington lost his match, but Gary McPhee won his, so this Sunday at Condo Gary will Play Roger Hadrill from Condobolin for the title of Presidents single champion, best of luck Gary,
In the District Singles played at the Railway Diggers Bowling Club over the weekend ,some very close and exciting games were played, and watched by a very excited crown of spectators.
The semi finals came down to Three Parkes Club Bowlers and one from Forbes, Bruce Williams from Forbes up against Eddie McPhee from Parkes, and Mick Went up against the very formidable Baldy Frame, firstly, Bruce and Eddie kept the crowd on their toes, but Bruce was too constant, and ended up winning 31/19, thus Bruce was into the finals, in the other game Mick and Baldy went head to head, and it was anyone's game up to the final bell, but Baldy was on his game and won 31/26, so, this Saturday at the Railway Bowling Club at 1PM, Bruce Williams will play Baldy Frame for the title of District Singles Champion, we wish the very best to our two champions in their games.
