GENERAL NEWS.
This Saturday, August 10th the Semi Final of the Minor Fours is set down to be played, also the Final of the Major Triples.
August 17th is the date set down for the 2nd round of the Major Fours.
It was great to see the Grand Old Man of Bowls, Tom Cole back at the club watching the bowls, he tells me he will be back on the green in the near future, great news Tom.
The A.G.M. of the Club is set down for the 23rd September, with nominations to close on the 25th August, as several of the current Board Members are not seeking re-election, it is now time for some new people to step forward and nominate.
Under the Club Constitution, Two positions on the Board are open to Social Members, so even if you do not play Bowls, but are a member of the Club, you can nominate, there must be some terrific people out there who would make great Board Members, so please give it serious thought..
