Here is the latest news from the Bowlie.
TWILIGHT BOWLS
Thursday night saw 59 bowlers on the greens.
With only two rounds of this competition to go Rok-FM remain undefeated after scoring a 14-6 win over Battlers. Can they hold their winning form over these next two weeks? Some of the other matches saw Super Bees defeat Spadgers 12-8, Bushies defeat We Wreckem-We Fixem 11-9, Casey Surveying defeat Back Trundle Road 11-9. Back Trundle Road have suffered narrow losses in their last few games and I expect them to be back in the winners list very soon. In a match that appeared to be heading for a very close finish, Three Amigos scored 11 shots on the last three ends to defeat Bowling Stones 19-8.
The major prize winning team was Three Amigos. Casey Surveying the minor prize and Elle the lucky losers.
