VALE JIM BUCKLEY
It is with a sad heart i have to tell you all that Jim has lost his fight with the big C, he passed away last Friday, and his funeral will be on this Friday at 11am at the Catholic Church,
Jim was a great Bowler, twice winning the Major Singles, and twice leading his Fours team to victory, he was also a great Skip, leading his side in the top grade of the Pennant Series, to Evelyn we wish all the sincere sympathy from the club in this sad time.

Saturday saw the final of the Major Pairs, with the favorites up against the underdogs, Paul (Chook 1) Henry and Baldy Frame against Mike Valentine and Keven Hynds, at the 14 end mark, Team Frame had a 9/8 lead, but then disaster struck Team Hynds, dropping a 3 and 5 over the next two ends, this was the end of the game, with Chook and Baldy going on to win 20/10.
