GENERAL NEWS.
Last Monday we held the Peter McVicker sponsored Mini Carnival, the winners on the day were the Graham Barby team and second place went to the Ron Hornery team, and the Peter Job team from the Railway Club were judged the best dressed team on the day, congratulations to all the teams who fronted on the day, with the middle green out of action, we had a full card of 14 teams, which was a great result.
A special mention must go to Kev Hynds, who had his beard and head shaved, with all proceeds going to Can Assist, and together with the Auction, masterly run by Jeff Rice, saw the magnificent sum of $2400 raised for the local charity, a HUGE thanks to every one involved.
Well that's it for this week, I'm heading West for two weeks, so Joe Perella will be running the show for the rest of the month, see you all at the Bowlie
