Here's the latest from the Bowlie.
HANDICAP SINGLES
Tom Furey is the 2015 Handicap Singles Champion following his win over John Dunn last Thursday. This match saw history repeat itself as Tom also won the title in 2014 when he defeated John 25-11. This match saw John receive a two shot handicap start from Tom and he won the first two ends to lead 4-0. Tom won the next four ends to lead 7-4 before John won four ends in a row to regain the lead 10-7. Tom then started to dominate the match winning eight of the next nine ends and got away from John to lead 22-11. John won the next two ends before Tom scored a maximum four shot end to take the match 25-14. I think the handicapper may have a closer look at Tom’s handicap next year.
