Here is the latest news from the Bowlie.
MAJOR TRIPLES FINAL
Matthew Parker, Warwick Parker and Michael Went are the Major Triples Champions for 2014 after scoring a hard fought win over Geoff Freeman, Graham Barby and Flip Fliedner. A lot of very good bowls were played during the match. The lead change five times in the first 19 ends and saw team Went hold a narrow 18-17 lead. They then took control of the match by scoring 10 shots on the next four ends to run out 28-20 winners. The match was going to be decided by whichever team combined best on the day and unfortunately for team Fliedner it was Matthew, Warwick and Michael who played the better team bowls. Congratulations on a well deserved win.
