George Bradley and Guy Ellery scored a good 22-8 win over Don Littlewood and Tom Furey.

TWILIGHT BOWLS
Unfortunately round two was rained out last Thursday. The club has the option of extending the pre-Christmas season by one week to give the teams the opportunity to play all scheduled rounds.
New teams or individuals are always welcome to join in and only need to contact the club to be included in next week’s games.
HIGH SCHOOL BOWLS
Four highly talented boys are playing bowls as part of school sports. Last Wednesday they arrived by bus and after some tuition in the finer points of the game played a game of pairs. Morgan Pouter and Doug Miller held a narrow 5-3 lead over Brad Simpson and Brenden Weekes when the bus arrived to pick them up with one end still to play. They were so keen to play the last end that the bus was sent on its way. The end was very tight and it was Brenden who played the shot of the day to nudge Doug’s bowl away from the jack for Brad and Brenden to score two shots and tie the game 5 all. A rematch is a must.
