Here's the latest from the Bowlie.
Thursday Bowls In the match of the day Martin Tighe and Garry McPhee scored a single shot on the final end to defeat Mitchell and Viv McGlashen 20 to 19. George Bradley and Ray Jones scored a good win over John Taylor and Rob Irving 22 to 16 whilst Graham Dixon and Rob Tinker had a comfortable victory over Bob Freeman and Les Kent 29 to 15. Jim Blake and Arthur Corbett finished strongly to defeat John Watson and John Ward 20 to 13 while Greg Huggins and John Davies led throughout to defeat Gordon Dickson and Col Hayward 26 to 14.

Saturday Bowls A number of close matches were played with Gordon Dickson and Arthur Corbett defeating George Bradley and Ray Jones 20 to 17 whilst Gladrin Sun and Rob Irving outlasted Bob Freeman and Garry McPhee 17 to 15. Chris Dunn and Mark Dwyer had a narrow win over Greg Townsend and Colin Mudie 18 to 15. Keith McRae and Liz Byrne were too strong for Joe Crowley and John Taylor winning 22 to 10.

No games were played on the weekend due to the Easter break. This Sunday our No.2 team will host Molong, the No.5 team travel to Canowindra and our No.7 team are at home against Forbes.
