Here is the latest news from the Bowlie.
EASTS V WESTS
On Saturday the annual East versus West Challenge was played.
After acceptances there were 24 West bowlers and 16 East bowlers. This meant that West gave four of their quality bowlers to East to even out the teams. The overall result saw West win the matches 4-3. East won the ends 74-73 and the total shots 143-136. East was declared the winner based on total shots scored. It was interesting to note that the three winning East teams all contained at least one West player, so does that mean West won the matches 7-0?
A very enjoyable afternoon was had by all bowlers.
Results of the matches are: (East teams shown first)
