G'Day, and welcome to this weeks news from the bowlie.

SUNDAY JACKPOT BOWLS.
Only 6 players braved the chilly weather to try for the jackpot, but it was not won, so $860 next Sunday. In the afternoon saw the first mixed mufti bowls game, 12 players fronted for the game, 4 women and 8 men, with the winners on the day being Maureen Bailey and Tom Hamilton, hopefully this event will be played each fortnight, and with better weather, and word of mouth, a good roll up will eventuate.
GENERAL NEWS.
Both the Minor and Major Triples are in full swing, and we are now at the pointy end of both events, so some good bowls are in order, check the board for dates, and get your games over A.S.A.P.
Nominations for the Major and Minor Fours are now open, closing 15th July, so still time to get your teams together.
Our Reps playing in the Zone events at Dubbo had a bad day, Col Hayward losing his game in the Senior Singles, while our teams in both the Open Pairs and Senior Pairs, won their first games, but went down in the second round, bad luck fellas.
Still time to get your tickets for the Christmas in July Party, a great night is assured, with music by Risky Business to rock the night away, only $25 a head.
Well ,that's it for this week, see you all at the Bowlie.
