GENERAL NEWS.
This Saturday afternoon will be a Mufti Day as we are hosting a group of bowlers from Junee, I am led to believe that 14 to 16 men are coming for the weekend, so a good rollup would be welcome.
As most bowlers know, we have two Primary Schools attending for bowls as a school sport, and a team of men are there to coach and instruct them, any one who could spare an hour of two to help out, please see Col Mudie or John Ward. Also at the start of the next term we will be fostering a small group of Senior High School boys for Advanced Tutoring, and the coaches are looking for some new style bowls for the boys to use, anyone who could lend their bowls for the afternoon would be most appreciated, the bowls will stay at the club.
Starters for the coming week, Thursday 24/9 Graham Barby and Max Tomkins, and Saturday 26/9 John Ward and Mick Craft.
And finally, we will have a new cook at the Club on Friday Night, Mel from Cafe "N" Ate, will be serving up good old fashioned cooked meals, so please come down for the friday Night Raffle and have a nice meal at the same time.
Well thats it for this week, see you all at the Bowlie.
