SUNDAY MORNING JACKPOT
Sixteen bowlers turned out to try to win the $1000 jackpot.
In a closely contested game Kevin Hynds and Ted Wright defeated Greg Townsend and Geoff Freeman 16/15. A close look at the score card shows an error of one shot, which would have resulted in a 16/16 result. Maybe a calculator would help Kev!
In another close match Elaine Miller and Steve Turner defeated Margaret and John O’Malley 11/10.
Mal Porter and Rob Irving led all the way in defeating Ian Brown and Keith Hutchison 17/8.
Guy Ellery and Dean Searl had a big win over Brian Harrison and Mick Blunt 24/5.
Prize winners were Mick Blunt, Rob Irving, Dean Searl, Margaret O’Malley and John O’Malley.
The jackpot number did not fall for the four bowlers on rink seventeen.
Come along next Sunday for a game, a sausage sizzle, and to be in the running for the $1000 jackpot.
